Change Description

Adds the EIP-2124 FORK_NEXT upgrade section and suggests block 1735371 for Sepolia.
This block number was chosen to happen near slot 417120, which is expected on 8/17/2022 at 12:24:00 PM UTC.

Block Number Rationale

  • Current slot: 223758
  • Slots until 417120: 417120-223758 = 193362
  • Blocks per slot: 0.949 (caused by 100/1973 Sepolia validator keys lost)
  • Blocks until slot 417120: 193362*0.949 = 183500
  • EL block number at slot 223758: 1551617
  • Block height around slot 417120: 1551617+183500 = 1735117
  • Closest palindrome: 1735371 🎉
